The class of 1950 matriculated in September of 1946 to the halls of Hamilton High located on South Clinton Avenue in Trenton, New Jersey. The students came from the numerous elementary schools in the Township, i.e. Yardville, Hamilton Square, Mercerville, Kuser, Lalor to name a few. From the first day the class, as a whole, showed an excitement, enthusiasm and spirit that stayed with us through our tenure at Hamilton. While having their own close classmates from their own elementary school experience, the entire group came together to form a single energetic unit. The class made new traditions and changed old ones. The idea of being different just seemed to come naturally. In June of 1950, the class graduated to enter on our journey of life. Each of us went our separate ways. Some of us, did however, marry members of our own class. But through all of our separate lives, challenges, disappointments and successes we continue to return every five years for a wonderful reunion. We talk over old times, renew acquaintances and bring each other up to date on our lives. Our next reunion is scheduled for the year 2000. It will be the 70th anniversary of Hamilton High School - West. We have a wonderful group of classmates who plan and execute the event. To the many who have served, we, your fellow classmates, are most grateful. This site allows for
our class to stay in touch and have a vehicle to communicate with each other and address
items that may have mutual interest. |
